Cake for fast ( Upasacha cake )

Ingredients :
Amaranth Flour ( Rajgira ata ) : 3/4 cup
Barnyard Millet ( Vari or Bhagar ata ) : 3/4  cup
Water Chest nut Flour ( Singhareka ata) : 1/4 cup
Fresh  coconut : 1/2 cup ( Desiccated coconut can be used )
Ripe mashed banana : 1 cup ( I have used 3 large bananas )
Powdered Sugar : 1/2 cup ( Add more sugar if you want more sweetness )
Plain yoghurt ( Dahi)  :  1/2 cup
Warm milk   : 3/4 cup
Desi ghee  : 4 tsp
Elaychi powder : 1/2 tsp
Baking Powder : 1  tsp
Baking Soda     : 1/4 tsp
Almond slices : 3 tsp

Recipe :
1. Sieve rajgira ata, vari ata, singhara ata, baking powder & baking soda.  Mix all the dry ingredients well.  Keep aside.
2. In another bowl add mashed banana, desi ghee, sugar, yoghurt & mix throughly.
3. Add elaychi powder & coconut. Mix well.
4. Add the mixture of dry ingredients slowly. Start adding milk as required. Add dry mixture & milk alternately till all the mixture is finished & you get required batter consistancy. Adjust milk quantity accordingly.
5. Pour the mixture in a greased tin.Decorate the top of the cake batter with almond slices.
6. Bake the cake in oven at 180 C for 25 minutes.
You can bake the cake in cooker or on gas stove using non stick pan.
This cake turns out little moist & tastes heavenly.
