Very simple Coconut cake!! Just in 3 steps.
Ingredients :
Fine Suji : 3/4 cup
All purpose flour ( Maida ) : 3/4 cup
Descicated coconut : 1 cup ( Fresh coconut can be used )
Sugar : 3/4 cup
All purpose flour ( Maida ) : 3/4 cup
Descicated coconut : 1 cup ( Fresh coconut can be used )
Sugar : 3/4 cup
Plain yoghurt ( Dahi) : 3/4 cup
Warm milk : 3/4 cup
Desi ghee or oil : 1/4 cup
Baking Powder : 1 tsp
Desi ghee or oil : 1/4 cup
Baking Powder : 1 tsp
Baking Soda : 1/4 tsp
Vanilla essence : 1 tsp
Recipe :
1. Add suji, maida, coconut, sugar, Ghee or oil , milk & yoghurt in a big bowl.
2. Mix well. Stir gently.
3. Add vanilla essence , baking powder & baking soda. Fold the batter gently.
4. Bake the cake in greased tin in oven at 180 C for 35 minutes.
Decorate with coconut & enjoy this delicious cake.

ReplyFresh coconut can be used. I have not tried. But i think it will turn nice. Let me know also
ReplyWhile using wheat flour take suji a cup n wheat flour 1/2 flour. It should be nice!!
