Cooked raw Jack Fruit( Kaccha phanas ) : 2 Cups
Valache dane : 3/4 Cup
Vegetable oil : 4 tsp
Chopped Green chillies : 2
Mustard seeds : 1 tsp
Cumin seeds : 1tsp
Hing : 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder : 1/2 tsp
Goda Masala : 2 tsp
salt : 1 tsp or as per tatse
Jaggery : 2 tsp
Kokam Garcinia Indica ) : 2-3
Fresh coconut : 5 tsp
Curry leaves : 7-8
Chopped coriander : for decoration
Recipe :
1. Take small jack fruit ( about 1/2 kg )
2. Peel off the hard cover of jack fruit & cut it into 4-5 pieces.
3. Keep it in a vessel & pressurecook for upto 3 whistles when it is done cut into small pieces.
4. Pressure cook valache dane also.
5. Add oil in a kadhai or heavy bottom vessel.
5. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing , curry leaves & turmetic powder &
prepare tadka.
7. Add cut jack fruit & valache dane .
7. Add fresh coconut, jaggrey & salt,
8. Mix properly.
9. Cover the vessel. Let it cook for some time.
10.When it done properly decorate it with fresh coconut & coriander leaves & enjoy with hot phulkas or rice.
